ENCOUNTER WEEK IS A UNIQUE CAMP EXPERIENCE FOR 7TH – 12TH GRADERS (‘21-’22). FBC LUFKIN STUDENTS ARE HEADED TO RIVERBEND RETREAT CENTER IN GLEN ROSE, TX JUNE 6-10 WITH FBC ARLINGTON AND OTHERS.

THIS IS A BIG WEEK FOR STUDENTS TO ENCOUNTER GOD, MAKE MEMORIES, STUDY THE BIBLE, AND CONNECT WITH NEW FRIENDS! CAMP IS SUCH AN IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE – DON’T MISS OUT!

FIRST, start by following the button on the left to the registration website. Encounter Week is hosted by First Baptist Church Arlington, TX, so the registration page is on their website. Click the green “Create An Account” button and follow the instructions. You will upload your child’s important health and insurance information to this account for use by camp health staff. The Need-To-Know button below will take you to the student information packet. Read over this for lots of camp details including packing list, rules, dress code, etc. During registration, you’ll come across a consent box that acknowledges you received and read this packet.

FINALLY, does your student have special dietary restrictions or allergies? Head over to BendFoodAllergy.org to submit an allergy form and receive a copy of the planned menu. This needs to be submitted by May 20.

IMPORTANT DATES

May 15 – Parent Meeting at 5:00pm in the Youth Room. One parent for each student must attend!
June 6 – Leave for camp! Meet in the FBC parking lot at 10:00am.
June 10 – Return from camp! We should arrive in the FBC parking lot around 3pm.
